1. I'm unsure of the color to order, can I get an ecofetti sample? Yes, we supply ecofetti and cone paper samples. The colors on this site compared to actual product may vary depending on your monitor. Please send a self-addressed stamped envelope (traditional business size holds 6 samples) with two 1st class stamps on it to: Ecoparti, 125 Miner St., Middletown, CT 06457. Please be specific with your cone or ecofetti color requests and we will ship your samples as soon as we can! To help you with the pinks....the light pink is a pretty light, muted color; the bright pink is more like a hot pink. If you will be using ecofetti for a bridal toss after dark, we recommend white or a white combination, which is easier to see! 2. When should I order? Most orders will ship in 2 to 4 business days. However, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery of custom tulle colors for wedding baskets. Ecoparti ecofetti can be safely stored in a dark, cool, dry environment for six or more months. Freeze-dried rose petals should be ordered four weeks before your special day - they maintain their beautiful color, shape and texture for many months when stored in a dry, dark space. To ensure you get your color choice - please be sure to order early!! 3. How much do I need? For ecofetti purchased in bulk bags - the bags contain a scoop that hold a rounded Tablespoon of ecofetti...The large bag 100 scoops - the small bag 50 scoops. If you will be putting ecofetti in a tossing cone we recommend 2 to 3 times that amount to fill the cones. If guests will be helping themselves, you may want extras for enthusiastic guests! For a rose petal toss, we suggest one-half cup per guest. As a table decoration – Approximately 1 to 3 cups per table, depending on how much you prefer. Piñatas – We recommend using approximately 6 cups in addition to candy or any small gift items that will be added. 4. How long does it take for ecoparti ecofetti to disintegrate? Ecofetti is a unique starch-based material. When wet, it will begin to dissolve right away. Usually it will be completely dissolved within 48 hours, but the speed depends on water temperature and the volume of confetti. Traditional rice and special 'designed' rice take weeks to dissolve... 5. Are rose petals difficult to keep colorful and pretty? Just store the rose petals in the box in which they are shipped and keep out of high heat & humidity (damp basement/garage, attic). The rose petals settle in shipment -- just open the bag & fluff the petals...watch them grow in volume. If you want super soft rose petals you may "re-hydrate" them by placing the package into a steamy bathroom...not IN the shower...for 30-60 minutes. The rose petals will become very soft & very pliable!! 6. Are your petals organic or treated with pesticides? I want to use them on my wedding cake. We have many customers that use freeze dried rose petals to decorate around the base of the cake or they have a protective layer when they place them on as a 'cake topper'. Its great to be able to decorate the cake and cake table with the same petals! You may also ask your cake designer to create "sugar" petals to match the freeze dried rose petals on the table! 7. Is your site secure? Yes - Your privacy is important to us! We will never disclose any information about our customers to another source. We recommend you DO NOT use ecofetti in the rain or high humidity... just save it for another special occasion! 9. Do the piñatas come with ecofetti shapes? No, you can order the piñatas with or without the confetti, but we provide one of the multi-colored shredded ecofetti's for a festive, environmentally responsible party. 10. What are my shipping options? Most items are shipped USPS Priority Mail and arrive within the continental US within 2 business days, but Express shipping is available for an additional charge. All of our products are shipped either in recycled shipping boxes, or boxes made of 65% minimum post-consumer materials. We ask that you reuse your boxes whenever possible. 11. Do you ship to APO and FPO Military Addresses? And how do you ship to APO and FPO Military Addresses? Yes, we gladly support our troops -- we ship via USPS Priority Mail with standard shipping rates. 12. Do you ship internationally? Yes, normal shipping takes 4 to 10 days at $17.50. Express shipping is delivered in 3-5 days for $26.50. Baskets and piñatas, due to their size are more costly, please call or email for shipping prices on these items. 13. What payment methods do you accept? We accept Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express. Your card will not be charged until the items ship. 14. Can I check the delivery status of my order? Yes, you will be notified by email you when your item has shipped. You will be able to track it via the link that is included in the email. 15. I've tried to Track my package but no real information is coming up or it appears to be invalid. What do I do? Please wait a few hours after you receive your Tracking email as it may take UPS and USPS sometime to be fully updated. If you received a Tracking email, rest assured your order is on its way. 16. What is your return policy? All our products are guaranteed; we make every effort to satisfy our customers! Please be sure to call us with any problem and we will make arrangements for returns if necessary. All returns must be received in good condition and within 30 days of order; return shipping costs will not be credited. Finally, if a returned item was shipped for free, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. |
